1. Google+ Circles
Google+ Circles is amazing feature numero uno in Google+. It allows us to organize all relationships in Google+ by dragging & dropping in different circles like friends, family, co-workers, etc. This allows us to choose what we want to share with different circles. E.g. you may share work photos with your coworkers & personal photos with your family & friends.
2. Google+ Hangouts
Google+ Hangouts is a feature that lets you have group video calls of up to 10 people together. It also allows simultaneous viewing of YouTube videos by groups of people, a feature that is exceptionally crafty.
3. Google+ +1
The counter to Facebook’s Like button, Google+ +1 is Google+’s simple way of showing approval of anything from a status to an article.
4. Google+ Sparks
Google+ Sparks allows you to share information on a particular topic all across the internet. IF you add something in Google+ Sparks, you get related articles/sites on that topic.
5. Google+ Takeout
You can take away all your shared information on Google+ & numerous other Google services via the Google Takeout feature. So even if Google+ is another aborted Google idea (which it won’t be), you will still be able to retain all your information.
6. You own your information
Unlike Facebook which co-owns everything you post there, Google+ doesn’t. The terms of service for Google+ clearly state “You retain copyright and any other rights you already hold in content which you submit, post or display on or through, the Services.”
